I'm a bit worried because I've been on Cyproheptadine and Dexamethasone to help with weight gain, but every time I stop taking them, I start losing weight and my appetite just drops. I'm not sure what to do about it. Do you have any suggestions for how I can manage this?

Air Crack in Left Hand: POP vs. Roll Bandage

Present Treatment

  1. Plaster of Paris (POP) bandage: Currently, you have a POP bandage to immobilize the affected area.
  2. Roll bandage: You're considering switching to a roll bandage for support.

Recommendations

  1. Consult your doctor: Before making any changes, consult your doctor to determine the best course of treatment.
  2. POP bandage benefits: POP bandages provide excellent immobilization, which is crucial for proper healing.
  3. Roll bandage limitations: Roll bandages may not provide sufficient support or immobilization for an air crack.

When to Consider a Roll Bandage

  1. Doctor's advice: If your doctor recommends switching to a roll bandage, it's likely because the initial healing process is complete.
  2. Pain management: If you're experiencing minimal pain, a roll bandage might be sufficient for support.

Next Steps

  1. Schedule a follow-up appointment: Consult your doctor to assess the healing progress and determine the best course of treatment.

I've been dealing with moderate man boobs and wanted to know if there's any approved treatment for it. Is gynexol actually effective or should I look into other options? Could hormone balancing help get rid of this or is surgery the only way?

For moderate gynecomastia (man boobs), several treatment options are available, including medical management and surgery. While Gynexol (a potential supplement) is not a scientifically proven or approved treatment for gynecomastia, it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment. Hormonal imbalances can contribute to gynecomastia, and some medications, like tamoxifen or anastrozole, may help address this. However, for severe cases or when medical management isn't effective, surgery, such as liposuction or mastectomy, may be necessary.

I'm really starting to worry about my testosterone levels. They dropped from 270 ngdl to 208.83 ngdl in just two months, and I'm not on any medications or lacking vitamins like D or zinc. I've always felt like my hormones are low because I'm just never feeling healthy. With being a beta thalassemia minor, dealing with chronic back pain, low hemoglobin, weak bones, extra chest fat, and metabolic issues, it's a lot. Even a little extra oil or sugar messes with me, and I end up with painful acne. I often take doxycycline for that. Although I look healthy, I get tired too easily and have all the symptoms that come with low hormonal levels. I've noticed endocrinologists don't seem to know much about TRT. What do you think I should do?

-It sounds like you're dealing with a range of complex health issues, from low testosterone to chronic pain and metabolic concerns, which can really impact your quality of life. While your hormone levels may be normal in some tests, persistent symptoms li
