I'm a bit worried because while I was eating, I accidentally scratched my throat. Now I'm coughing a lot, and my throat feels really itchy. It also hurts whenever I swallow. Do you think this is something serious, or will it just go away on its own? Should I be doing anything specific to help it heal or make the pain go away?

It sounds like you may have developed some irritation in your throat from scratching it while swallowing. To help with the pain and itchiness, you can try using a throat spray like Chloraseptic which contains benzocaine. You can also take an over-the-counter pain reliever like acetaminophen to help with the discomfort. Additionally, sucking on throat lozenges containing menthol or eucalyptus can also provide relief. Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid irritants like smoking or excessive talking. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.

View allI've recently gotten over COVID-19, but now I'm dealing with some post-COVID issues and I'm not sure what to do. I'm experiencing nasal congestion and occasional headaches. During my recovery, I was on steroids40mg for five days, 20mg for two days, and then 10mg for another two days. Afterwards, I took voriconazole 200mg for four days as per the advice I received. The nasal congestion feels really uncomfortable, and honestly, it's starting to scare me a bit. What should I do about this uneasiness?

I'm really worried about my 3-year-old son. He recently had a BERA test, and the results showed normal waves in his right ear but absent waves in the left. What could this possibly mean? I'm scheduled to see his doctor next week, but the waiting is stressing me out and I'd love to get a second opinion in the meantime. Can you shed some light on this?
Bera test is used for hearing examination can determine the type of abnormality (conductive or sensorineural), severity (hearing threshold), and hearing loss (inner ear or other parts) of the child. and absence of waves can indicate neurological issues in the hearing pathway
