I'm dealing with a boil inside my cheek which I think started after I accidentally bit it, and I also have a B12 deficiency. Now I've noticed a boil on the other cheek too. It doesn't hurt much, but I'm worried if it's something serious. Should I see a dentist or an ENT for this? What do you recommend?

My gums are receding around my front two teeth, and it looks like I can see the roots. I'm really worried do I have to get surgery, or are there other options? Also, can you recommend a good specialist or hospital for this? What would the cost be? And how can I take care of my teeth at home to prevent it from getting worse?

Receding gums, especially when exposing tooth roots, should be addressed promptly by a dentist. While surgery might be an option for moderate to severe cases, non-surgical methods like topical antibiotics or dental bonding can be effective for milder situations. Proper brushing technique, regular dental checkups, and addressing underlying issues like teeth grinding can help prevent further recession.

I'm pretty sure I've got a canker sore on my palatoglossal arch, and it's been growing. There's no headache or stomach pain, just pain right where the ulcer seems to be. If it's not a canker sore, what else could it be? It's been around for a week now and isn't showing any signs of shrinking or healing. What should I do to treat it? I'm starting to get a bit worried.

consult a ENT specialist for further management. Any long standing ulcer should be biopsied and ruled out for malignancy.
