I'm dealing with a breathing issue and I'm on medication for it regularly. I also have a persistent cough. My lower left lung collapsed when I had TB at the age of 6. Sometimes my cough gets infected and I end up needing more medicine. Can you give me any advice?

I'm really confused about something and could really use some clarity. Is pulmonary Koch's the same as tuberculosis in the lungs? And if they're different, do they require the same kind of treatment as tuberculosis? Also, is this pulmonary Koch's thing contagious?

Yes, pulmonary Koch's is another term for tuberculosis (TB) in the lungs. It requires similar treatment, usually involving a combination of antibiotics over several months. TB is contagious, so it's important to follow precautions to prevent spreading it to others.

I've been struggling with this severe wet whooping cough for 7 months now and it's really worrying me. I'm 6 months pregnant and don't smoke, but nothing seems to help. Ive been on antibiotics and have gone to the hospital 40 times where they gave me lots of IVs. The doctors say I have tuberculosis, pneumonia, bronchitis, and a really deep wet bronchial infection, plus a severe lung infection. When I breathe and cough, my chest rattles, and after being auscultated, they said theres a croaking sound from my lungs. Sometimes when I cough, its so bad I turn red or even blue because I can't breathe. Honestly, Im scared. What should I do to finally get rid of this cough?

Ecg,x-ray chest pa view, sputum for AFB and microscopy is advised to the patient.
