My aunt was diagnosed with holes in her lung through a CT scan at SVIMS Tirupati. The doctors said medicines won't fully cure it and surgery could have complications. Is there any other treatment option for this condition? We're really worried and would like to know if consulting you could help.

My mom is 66, 45 inches tall and weighs 52 kg. She has COPD and severe sleep apnea but has been using CPAP for 2 months now. Also has thyroid issues, BP and anxiety. Found multiple 8mm gallstones with very mild occasional pain but no vomiting, fever and good appetite. Is she okay to go ahead with surgery next month or should we wait?

This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

I've had this really bad cough for four days now and my doctor asked me to get a chest x-ray. The report mentioned something about patchy haziness in the lower right zone, which they said might suggest pneumonitis. I'm kinda worried because there's also blood in my sputum in the morning, though it turns to just yellow sputum later in the day. Could this be something serious? What should I be doing about it?

It sounds like you have a case of pneumonitis, which is causing inflammation in the lung tissue, and the blood in your sputum could be due to irritation or mild bleeding from the airways. The yellow sputum suggests an ongoing infection. It's important to follow up with your doctor for appropriate treatment, such as antibiotics or other therapies, to help with healing.
