I'm dealing with iron deficiency anemia and my doctor recommended a Ferium 1k infusion. I'm wondering how much my hemoglobin levels might go up after just one of these injections?

View allMy mom's hemoglobin is at 5.9. Is that critical? Should we think about admitting her to the hospital today, or is it safe to wait until Monday? I'm really worried and unsure what to do.
A hemoglobin level of 5.9 is quite low and could be critical, especially if your mother is showing symptoms like weakness, dizziness, or shortness of breath. It's important to seek immediate medical attention, ideally today, to avoid complications, as this may require urgent intervention.

I've had small lymph nodes enlarged all over my body for almost 1.75 years near my ears, neck, under my jaw, armpits, and groin. The doctors at CMC Vellore checked my blood work and abdominal ultrasound, said everything's normal, and told me to come back only if the nodes grow bigger. But my armpit nodes keep hurting, and I can feel them constantly. I've seen multiple doctors in Kolkata, but no one has a solution. What should I do? The pain and the constant awareness of these nodes are really bothering me, and I also have a retracted eardrum. Could these be connected?
Given the persistent, unexplained swollen lymph nodes, persistent pain in the armpit nodes, and retracted eardrum, you should seek a second opinion from a specialist, possibly a hematologist or immunologist, to investigate further. A detailed assessment may be needed to determine the cause of your symptoms, including a thorough examination of your lymph nodes, a detailed history of your symptoms, and potentially additional testing like an MRI or a lymph node biopsy.

I've been dealing with a vitamin B12 deficiency for a couple of months and started getting B12 injections weekly for six weeks. I just got my levels checked again, and now they're over 2000. Is this normal, or should I be worried? Also, I have some other blood work results like hemoglobin at 15, platelets at 346, and WBC at 7800. I'm curious if these are all interconnected somehow. What's going on with my blood tests?
