I'm dealing with a stone at the neck of my gallbladder that's causing a lot of swelling. The doctor mentioned that an operation can't be done right now because of this swelling. I'm in a lot of pain and not sure what options I have. Is there anything else that can be done to help with the pain or reduce the swelling?

-It sounds really uncomfortable, and I'm sorry you're dealing with this. For now, you can try managing the pain with medications prescribed by your doctor, stay on a low-fat diet to reduce strain on your gallbladder, and stay hydrated. Follow up regularly

View allCan a normal healthy person take isabgol every day? I deal with chronic diarrhea and I've been taking 2 teaspoons of isabgol mixed with lemon and water every morning. Is this okay? I'm a bit worried if there are any side effects from using isabgol for a long time, like over a few years. What do you think?
stop its use

I noticed something hard right below my ribs on the right side, but it doesn't hurt. I'm a bit concerned about what it could be. Could you tell me which type of doctor I should see about this?
it could be a lipoma. see a surgeon for this and get it checked out

I have an 8mm gallstone and my doctor is recommending surgery right away but I'm wondering if I can try liver flush methods first instead is that safe or effective
Liver flushes are unproven and risky—8 mm gallstones often need surgery if symptomatic; don’t delay.
