What are red dots on skin?
Red dots can be raised, flat, Itchy or painful depending on the condition. The colour can also vary from pale red to bright red. Pinpoint red dots can be petechiae which occur due to broken superficial blood vessels under the skin. Red spots can also be found during some infection, heat or sun over exposure, any allergies and bites caused by insects, mosquitoes, ticks, bed bugs.
