I'm experiencing some peeling and cracking on the skin of my penile head, and I'm not quite sure what's causing it. Could you tell me what the treatment might be for this?

Possible Causes*
- Balanitis: Inflammation of the glans penis, often caused by poor hygiene, allergies, or infections.
- Dry skin: Harsh soaps, excessive washing, or cold weather can cause dryness and cracking.
- EczemaDermatitis: Skin conditions that can cause inflammation, dryness, and cracking.
- Psoriasis: An autoimmune condition that can cause skin cell buildup, leading to scaling and cracking.
- Fungal or bacterial infections: Such as candidiasis or bacterial balanitis.
Treatment Options
- Topical creams: Over-the-counter (OTC) or prescription creams, such as hydrocortisone, can help reduce inflammation and itching.
- Antifungal or antibacterial medications: If an infection is suspected, your doctor may prescribe medication to treat it.
- Moisturizers: Keeping the area moisturized can help alleviate dryness and cracking.
- Good hygiene practices: Gently wash the area with mild soap and lukewarm water.

Can I use Glyco 6 every day or should it be applied on alternate days? And when it comes to a face moisturizer, should I put it on before or after using Glyco 6? I'm a bit unsure about the right routine to follow.
For beginners stay with alternate days or 2-3 times per week especially if you are new to glycolic acid. For experienced users you can gradually increase to daily use.Use moisture after applying this cream.

I'm dealing with a skin issue that started with white patches about two weeks ago. When I visited my doctor, I was advised to use melanocyl ointment. After using it for a week, Ive noticed a new problem: my skin is now developing dark patches instead. I'm really concerned about why this is happening. Is it normal for the skin to react this way to the ointment, or should I be worried about an allergic reaction or side effect?
Stop using Melanocyl ointment immediately and consult your doctor, as the black patches may be a sign of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) or melanin overstimulation, and alternative treatments may be necessary.
