I'm feeling really congested in my chest and my nose is kind of blocked right now. The doctor gave me airtec sf to inhale, montair lc, and unicontine 400 to help. Is there anything else I can do or take to get better faster?

View allI've been having these episodes of shortness of breath since 2008. It first happened when I was exercising, and I just couldn't catch my breath out of nowhere. Since then, these episodes come and go, lasting for a few days before disappearing on their own. I'm a smoker, and when I got tested, the doctor said I've got mild asthma, but I'm not so sure about that diagnosis since I dont really have other asthma symptoms like wheezing. Does this sound like asthma to you, or could it be something else?
stop smoking and do chest x ray

Can a chest MRI detect lung cancer? I had a contrast chest CT scan, and the reports came back normal, but after a month, I developed a cough and sputum that lasted for two weeks. The coughing stopped, but sometimes I still get gray-colored sputum and feel pain around my lower ribs and shoulder blade. Is this a sign of lung cancer? I looked it up online, and now I'm concerned. Can an MRI better detect if something's wrong? I've attached my CT scan reports.
no they are not symptoms of lung cancer specifically
