I'm five months pregnant and I've been dealing with a urine infection. My doctor suggested taking Niftran and Cital syrup. I'm really concerned if it's safe. Will these medications affect my baby in any way?

View allI recently found out I have HSV1, but I tested negative for HSV2. I think my partner also has HSV1 and not HSV2. If he performs oral sex on me when he's not having an outbreak, is there a chance I'd end up with HSV2 genital herpes, or would it just be HSV1 genital herpes?
Since you and your partner both have HSV-1, the risk of transmitting HSV-1 to your genitals through oral sex is present, but you will not contract HSV-2; if infected, you may develop genital herpes caused by HSV-1, which tends to be less severe and less likely to recur compared to HSV-2.

I've been on Novelon for the last four years, and before I started taking it, I rarely had period cramps. But now, after starting it, I began to experience them, and for the last 23 months, the pain's been so bad that I've had to take painkillers. Is this due to Novelon, or are these just normal period cramps?
