I'm five months pregnant and I've been dealing with a urine infection. My doctor suggested taking Niftran and Cital syrup. I'm really concerned if it's safe. Will these medications affect my baby in any way?

View allMy wife is about 5.5 weeks pregnant and we had an ultrasound done. The doctor gave us an MTP Kit but we can't remember how were supposed to take it. With all the stuff happening because of COVID, we're really trying to avoid another visit to the hospital. Can you explain the steps for taking the MTP Kit?
Tablet mifepristone 200 mcg on day - 1 followed by tablet misoprostol 200 mcg on day-3 (after 48 hrs) 2 tablets followed by a 4 hour gap and then 2 tablets. All take orally.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and my baby's weight is currently 2 kg, is this normal? I'm wondering if it's possible for my baby to gain up to 2.6 kg in the next 3 weeks. What steps can I take to help increase my baby's weight?
It is unlikely for the baby to gain 2.6 kg in just 3 weeks, but steady weight gain is expected in the third trimester. To support healthy fetal growth, make sure you are eating a balanced diet rich in nutrients such as protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. Additionally, staying hydrated and getting regular prenatal check-ups can help monitor your baby's growth and development.
