I'm going through a tough time dealing with GERD for the past three years, and I've been on Razo D daily. Whenever it gets worse, I pop a few Ulgel A. I'm starting to worry if it's okay to keep using them over the long haul. Are Razo D and Ulgel A safe to use like this for a long period?

I have a hiatus hernia and it's causing a lot of acidity problems and mouth ulcers. Is there any medicine that can help or is surgery the only option? It's really uncomfortable and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'm a bit concerned because for the past three days it feels like something's stuck in my chest. It all started after I felt like food was coming back up from my stomach into my food pipe one night. Since then, I've been burping a lot after meals and drinks. What could be going on?

That could be GERD, visit Gastroenterologist for appropriate treatment.

Here are some possible reasons and suggestions: *Possible Causes* 1. *Low Blood Sugar*: Fluctuations in blood sugar levels can trigger hunger and stomach cramps. 2. *Hormonal Imbalance*: Hormones like ghrelin and leptin regulate hunger and fullness. Imbalances can lead to increased hunger. 3. *Nutrient Deficiencies*: Lack of essential nutrients like protein, healthy fats, and fiber can cause hunger and cravings. 4. *Stress and Emotional Eating*: Stress can trigger hunger and emotional eating. *Suggestions* 1. *Eat Regular Meals*: Space out meals to maintain stable blood sugar levels. 2. *Incorporate Protein and Fiber*: Add protein-rich foods like lean meats, beans, and eggs, and fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. 3. *Stay Hydrated*: Sometimes, thirst can masquerade as hunger. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. 4. *Manage Stress*: Engage in stress-reducing activities like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises. 5. *Consult a Healthcare Professional*: If hunger and stomach cramps persist, consult a doctor or registered dietitian to rule out underlying medical conditions.
