I'm having some issues with pain in the right side of my neck, and it seems to be coming from a vein and extending to the lower part of my head. I also feel really cold and there's a heaviness in my right ear. Sometimes the pain gets really intense and I feel nauseous too. Can you help me understand what might be going on?

You may be experiencing symptoms of a sinus infection or sinusitis. I recommend taking a combination of a decongestant and pain reliever such as ibuprofen to help with the pain and congestion. Additionally, using a saline nasal spray can help with the cold symptoms and heaviness in the ear. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I recently visited a Neurologist because I've been having headaches. The doctor did an MRI scan and luckily they didnt find any abnormalities in my brain. However, they did see some mild mucosal thickening in my bilateral maxillary sinuses. I'm really curious and a bit worried about what this means for my health. Could you explain what's going on and what kind of treatment I might need?

The finding of mild mucosal thickening in your maxillary sinuses likely indicates sinus congestion, which is usually manageable with supportive care like nasal sprays, hydration, and decongestants. If your symptoms persist or worsen, consult with your doctor for further evaluation and possible treatments.

I'm currently on cephalexin for my tonsillitis and I'm just curious, is it okay to smoke marijuana while taking this medication? I'm worried if it might make the cephalexin less effective or if there could be any bad reactions.

I would not recommend smoking marijuana while taking cephalexin for tonsillitis. Smoking marijuana can potentially decrease the effectiveness of cephalexin and may also increase the risk of certain side effects. It is best to avoid smoking marijuana while on this antibiotic.

I'm experiencing some discomfort and it's a bit puzzling. Whenever I move my lower lip to the left side, I feel pain in my ear and right above it. It's a similar kind of pain that I get while chewing, though that's a bit milder. Could this be related to something specific, or is it just normal muscle pain? I'm curious if this is something I should be concerned about.

according to my opinion you have to consult ENT speciality for the same
