I'm looking for some advice on how to prevent pregnancy without using condoms. Are there any natural methods or other options I could consider? I'm hoping for some quick suggestions.

You can use semen withdrawal method for that if suitable. Avoid physical relation during ovulatory phase of menstrual cycle.

My wife's been having some back pain and issues with her uterus for about a year now, she's 40. A few gynaecologists suggested we need to go for a surgery to remove the uterus. I'm just trying to understand, how much does this operation usually cost, and are there any side effects we should be aware of after the surgery? Could you give me some advice on this?

Dear Kumar, removing the uterus (hysterectomy) is a common and generally safe procedure when necessary. The cost can vary based on the hospital and type of surgery but is typically between 50,000-1,50,000. Side effects may include temporary pain, hormonal changes if ovaries are removed, and recovery time of about 4-6 weeks. Please consult your doctor for a detailed evaluation and options.

I'm 20 and I've been taking Obimet SR 500 once a day for my PCOS. My period came on November 13th. Then on December 2nd, I got intimate, although we didn't have sex. I missed my period in December and also skipped some doses of my Obimet SR. I took a pregnancy test on December 24th and it was negative. Later that day, I got intimate again and took an emergency contraceptive pill. I started bleeding on January 1st and it was like a full period that lasted 7 days. I've been back on Obimet SR since January 8th. I've done two more pregnancy tests since then and both were negative. I'm not experiencing any breast pain or other PMS symptoms now. What should I do? Is there a chance I'm pregnant, and if I am, what's the safest way to manage an unwanted pregnancy?

Consult your gynecologist immediately for a thorough evaluation and guidance, as your symptoms and test results are inconclusive; despite negative pregnancy tests, your missed period, bleeding patterns, and lack of PMS symptoms are concerning; your doctor may order a more sensitive pregnancy test, ultrasound, or other diagnostic tests to confirm or rule out pregnancy; if pregnant, your doctor will discuss safe and legal options, including termination, with you.

I'm noticing that on the third day of my period, there's either no flow or it's really light, and this has been happening for the past couple of months. Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it just a normal variation?

Gynaecologist opinion is advised to the patient.
