I'm really concerned about this persistent neck pain I've had for the past three days. It's spread to my shoulders and sometimes even to my head, which really bothers me. I saw my primary physician, and I'm on some medication now. But this morning, I noticed my shoulders seemed a bit swollen, and there's this strange, hard muscle on the left side of my neck, right below my ear. It's not a visible lump, doesn't move, and isn't painful, but it's strange. Could it be a muscle issue? Oh, and I've had a common cold and a bit of cough at night, but no vomiting or fever. What do you think is going on?

View allI'm really worried about this weakness and leg pain I've been experiencing. I've been taking Medrol for my swollen lymph nodes in the chest, with doses starting at 12mg, then 8mg, and now 4mg for about a week each. But just a couple of days before I was supposed to finish the 4mg dose, I suddenly started feeling extremely weak and my legs are in so much pain. It's been like this since. Any idea what might be going on?

I've been dealing with some joint and chest pains since I had chikungunya last month. They seem to come and go, sometimes they're really intense and other times not so much. Is this something that will eventually clear up on its own, or should I be doing something to help with the recovery? I'm just a bit worried and would appreciate any advice.
