I'm really frustrated because my tonsils have a bunch of holes from these annoying tonsil stones. It's so irritating. If I get my tonsils taken out, will it solve this issue?

If you are experiencing recurrent issues with tonsil stones and they are significantly impacting your quality of life, a tonsillectomy (surgical removal of the tonsils) may be considered. This procedure can help alleviate the problem of tonsil stones by removing the source of their formation. Discuss with an ENT specialist about the possibility of a tonsillectomy and if it is the right option for you.

I'm about 20 days post-SeptoplastyMMA surgery and I'm wondering if it's okay for me to start wearing a mask. Should I be looking for any specific type of mask or will any mask work?

I'm dealing with some pretty bad swelling just below the right side of my jaw, and I'm wondering if it's because of tonsilitis. Is this something serious? The pain in my throat is terrible, and swallowing is almost unbearable right now. I've started on augmentin, reswas, and hexidime gargle on my doctor's advice. Any ideas on how long this swelling might last or if I should be more worried?
