I'm feeling a bit worried because I've been having this needle-like pain in my abdomen, mainly on the right side. I'm not sure if it's appendicitis or something else. My doctor prescribed me Drosis XT deflazacort 30mg and tamsulosin 0.4mg twice a day for 10 days along with other meds for kidney stones. Is taking 30mg of steroid twice a day safe for kidney stones? Are steroids usually given for this issue? Will the stones not pass without steroids?
Nephrologist opinion is advised for further treatment.
