I'm really worried about my brother. We're from Pakistan and he's been diagnosed with acute lung fibrosis. Even the doctors at Sheikh Zayed Hospital can't figure out the cause. We've done all kinds of tests at the top hospitals here, but we're still in the dark. I'm wondering if there's any way to send his samples to one of the best lung and pulmonary hospitals in India for further testing? What do you think would be the best course of action?

View allI've been having these really scary moments just before I fall asleep where I stop breathing and wake up in like a full-on adrenaline rush. It's happening a lot, like 15 to 20 times back-to-back. I thought it was obstructive sleep apnea, so I tried using a CPAP, but that didn't solve it. Then I considered it might be a stomach acid thing and tried Nexium, but nope, still happening. Do you have any ideas about what could be causing this?

I'm feeling this weird vibration in my right lower lung when I breathe, mostly at night when I'm trying to sleep. There's no pain, just this funny sensation. But sometimes if I take a deep breath or move a certain way, I get a sharp, needle-like pain. It's growing concerning, and I'm wondering what's going on. Can you shed some light on this?
The vibration and occasional sharp pain you feel in your lower lung could be due to muscle strain, mild inflammation in the pleura (lining of the lungs), or even trapped air in small airways. If it persists or worsens, consult a doctor for a thorough check-up to rule out any lung or musculoskeletal issues.

I'm really worried about my dad; he's tested positive for COVID and is having a tough time breathing. He's got an oxygen cylinder, and without it, he feels awful and almost passes out. He only seems okay when he's got the oxygen. What can we do to help him get better?
