I'm really worried about my lungs as I've been a smoker, but I quit. I haven't had breathing issues so far, but I'm concerned they might pop up in the future. I do yoga and breathing exercises regularlycan those help repair my damaged cilia, or should I see a pulmonologist? Are there any pre-treatments available? I'd appreciate any advice you can offer.

I'm really worried about my dad; he's been dealing with interstitial lung disease for the past couple of years, and I'm afraid it's in an advanced stage now. His latest HRCT report shows a superimposed infection. The doctor mentioned there's no medication to control this situation.
