I'm really worried about my mom. She's 68 and has a celiac condition, and her ESR just came back at 61, which seems high to me. Her hemoglobin is 9.6 gm, and she's also undergoing treatment for CLD. I'm trying to figure out why her ESR is so elevated. Plus, she's developed these allergy-like pimples on her back and stomach. Could these issues be related? What could be causing this?

For a couple of years now, I've been dealing with having to go to the toilet about 5 or 6 times a day. There's no stomach pain, but there's this discomfort that makes me feel better temporarily after going. There's no pain or burning when using the toilet. What might this be about, and could you suggest some solutions?

Sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I recommend trying a combination of dietary and lifestyle changes to help manage your symptoms. Increase your fiber intake through fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Drink plenty of water and avoid trigger foods such as caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods. Regular exercise and stress management techniques can also be helpful. Additionally, you can try over-the-counter antidiarrheal medications to help control your bowel movements. If your symptoms persist, please follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I've been having some diarrhea and mild pain in the upper part of my stomach since yesterday. The pain eases when I go to the bathroom, but my stools are really watery. Should I be taking Ciplox TZ or Noflox TZ for this? And how much should I take?

I've been dealing with diarrhea on and off for over a week and a half now, and in between, my stools have turned this chalky white color. It's got me a bit worried, especially because I'm nursing and don't want to pass anything to my baby, even though she seems alright. I had the stomach flu about three weeks ago and then traveled, and this issue started when I got back. Is it possible that it's linked to the stomach flu, or could it be some kind of viral infection that just flared up again? What's going on and should I be really concerned about this?
