I'm really worried because even though my chest X-ray came back normal, I've been having breathing problems for several days now. My oxygen level was 96 just yesterday, and I'm not sure if that's okay. Plus, my lymphocytes are a little high. Can an X-ray miss something serious? What should I do?

View allI'm trying to figure out if my lungs are healthy. Are there any specific tests I should take? I have an oximeter, and it shows readings of 95 and above. What do these numbers actually mean? I often feel like Im suffocating, which causes me anxiety and other uncomfortable feelings in my body. Can you help me understand what's going on?

I'm a bit confused about the differences between asthma and COPD. They both seem similar with the breathing issues, so how can I tell them apart? Also, someone mentioned that having COPD could complicate things if you need surgery. Should I be worried about any specific problems if someone with COPD has to undergo surgery?
Asthma is seen in childhood, whereas COPD is seen i adults above 40 years of age.Asthma is triggered by allergens like pollen or dust , whereas copd is due to smoking.Asthma airway obstruction is reversible whereas COPD obstruction is irreversible Asthma is treated by inflammation and copd is treated with bronchodilators. A diagnostic spirometry differntiates betweeen asthma and copd.

I've been dealing with some troubling symptoms and could really use some advice. Earlier this year, I had issues with waking up in the morning and coughing up blood. It was mostly when I got up and would spit, but the rest of the day seemed fine. I also noticed palpitations, chest pain, and shortness of breath, which would often go away with burping. After getting some advice from my doctor and having some tests done, which all came back normal, that bloody sputum stopped after about a month and a half. However, over the past few days, those symptoms have returned, along with a lot of burping. This morning, I once again coughed up blood and now have a slight sore throat. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
