I'm really worried because he's been having these severe headaches, almost like migraines, for the past 2 to 3 years. They often come with vomiting too. Could you suggest any medication that might help or recommend some tests we should consider? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Symptoms are indicative of migraine. You should visit a physician to determine the type of migraine. Only then can the appropriate medication be prescribed. Commonly used medication include, Naxdom (Naproxen + Domperidone), Sumatriptan, Celecoxib etc.

My vision has been blurry and I've had this terrible headache that won't go away. Sometimes my speech slurs and I feel a bit out of it like I might pass out. Could this be because blood flow to the nerves in my brain is blocked? Would I need surgery for this?

Common causes of blurry vision and headaches are migraines, eyestrain, and other correctable vision issues. Examples of emergency causes include a stroke, dangerously low blood sugar, traumatic brain injury, and carbon monoxide poisoning

I've already done an X-ray and MRI, which showed that there's a disc bulge and the disc is compressed. What do you think might be going on, and what should I do next?

I'm taking vertin and stemetil for my vertigo just like my doctor recommended, but I'm still having one or two vertigo episodes even with the meds. Plus, it seems to happen more when my stomach's empty. Is this normal? I've also had migraines for 20 years now. Does vertin actually stop vertigo completely?

You seem to be suffering from vestibular migraine. You may need long term migraine prophylaxis. Simple anti vertigo medicines are not really useful
