I'm really worried because last night my girlfriend was having a lot of trouble breathing. It was like her body just locked up and she was gasping for air. I sat her up and she eventually got her breath back, but I'm concerned that this could be a medical issue. Can you help me understand what might be going on?

I've just had a chest x-ray and it mentioned a few fibrotic strands in my left upper zone. Should I be worried about this? Does it suggest any serious illness? What kind of treatment might I need and how long could it take to get better?
Probable dignosis is pulmonary fibrosis.Patient is advised tablet levofloxacin 500mg once daily ,orally,for 5 days, oxygen supplementation if saturation is low pulmonary rehabilitation and lung transplant

I'm a post-COVID patient and have been struggling with a dry cough. I've been using Alex sugar-free syrup, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Could you suggest a better syrup or any other remedy for dealing with this persistent cough? Really looking for something effective.
