I'm struggling with this jock itch around my groin and butt area. I've tried using antifungal ointment, but it hasnt made a difference. Some spots have even turned dark, and it's getting really uncomfortable. Do you think I might need to take tablets for it?

It sounds like your jock itch may be resistant to topical treatment alone. In this case, oral anti-fungal medications may be necessary to effectively treat the infection. I recommend taking Fluconazole 150mg once a week for 4 weeks. Additionally, continue using the anti-fungal ointment as directed for better results. Make sure to keep the affected area clean and dry to prevent further irritation.

I'm worried about the possibility of having sex with my husband while he's still being treated for scabies. He's only put on the cream twice, and we're noticing his skin starting to dry up in those spots. Is it okay for us to be intimate now, or should we wait a bit longer?

It's generally recommended to avoid intimate contact, including sex, until your husband has completed the full scabies treatment course, usually 2-3 applications of permethrin cream, 7-10 days apart, and has been symptom-free for at least 24-48 hours, to minimize the risk of transmission, as scabies mites can survive off the human host for up to 72 hours.

I'm really worried because for the past three months, I've been experiencing a lot of hair loss, with hair even coming out from the root. I decided to switch to using castor oil, almond oil, and Dove shampoo to see if it helps. Do you think this is a good approach or is there something else I should be considering?

I'm a bit worried because I started taking the Hair bless tablet and using the regain topical solution for my hair fall back in October 2020. I've noticed that my hair volume has increased, and theres some regrowth too, but Im still dealing with hair fall. The thing thats freaking me out is that the medication seems to be causing hair growth in other places, like my stomach. Is it safe for me to keep taking the Hair bless tablet, or should I stop and just stick with the minoxidil topical solution? What do you think?

Increased hair growth on areas like the stomach due to Hairbless tablet usage is a known side effect, particularly with topical application. Since you're experiencing regrowth and increased volume, it's essential to consult your doctor to reassess the treatment plan. They may recommend stopping the Hairbless tablet or adjusting the dosage to minimize systemic absorption and prevent unwanted hair growth. Continuing topical minoxidil application may still be beneficial for hair growth, but it's crucial to discuss the best course of action with your doctor
