I'm trying to figure out what's better for my abdominal cramps. My uncle told me about Normaxin, but I've been taking Buscopan for a while now. I'm a 40-year-old guy and I'm confused about which one would be more effective for me. Could you help me decide which is the better option?

Both Normaxin (Dicyclomine + Simethicone) and Buscopan (Hyoscine Butylbromide) are antispasmodics used to relieve abdominal cramps; however, Buscopan is generally considered a better choice for abdominal cramps due to its targeted action on smooth muscle relaxation, whereas Normaxin also contains Simethicone, which is primarily used for gas and bloating relief;

View allFound a 9mm gallstone during my company health checkup what should I do next is there any medicine to dissolve it or do I need surgery could this stone cause problems later
A 9mm gallstone found during a health checkup requires follow-up with a doctor. While medication can sometimes dissolve gallstones, especially cholesterol stones, it's not a guaranteed solution and may take months or years. Surgery (cholecystectomy) to remove the gallbladder is often the preferred treatment for symptomatic gallstones, and it's generally more effective than medication. Whether or not the stone will cause problems later depends on whether it causes symptoms, and if so, what kind of symptoms.

I'm really worried because I've been dealing with stomach problems for the last two months, like cramps, abdominal pain, weird motions, mild fever, red eyes, and headaches. I first saw one gastro doctor who thought it was an infection and gave me some medications like Zifi, Satrogyl, and Nizonide. He wanted me to do a bunch of tests like colonoscopy, endoscopy, biopsy, CT scans, and blood tests. I went to another senior gastro in Noida, and he said it's IBS and no need for all those tests. But then after his 10-day course, the issues came back, and he also blamed another infection. Now, it's been about 20 days since my stomach has been better, and I'm taking Menoctyl, Enzar Forte, and Vizylac. What's really bothering me is that I've lost 8-9 kg of weight despite eating enough lately, and my weight isn't going up. Is this normal? Should I stick with the same gastro since I'm finally feeling some relief? The weight loss is freaking me out a bit.

I've been taking Dulcoflex for about a month now to help with constipation, but I'm noticing some weird side effects. I'm going to the bathroom a lot more often and I'm always hungry, even after eating a big meal. I've also noticed I'm losing weight and there's some itching around the anal area. I've done a bunch of tests but everything comes back normal. Could you suggest what might be going on or recommend some medication that could help? I'm really worried about these symptoms.
The symptoms you're experiencing, such as high urination, excessive hunger, weight loss, and anal itching, despite normal test results, may be related to the laxative Dulcoflex (bisacodyl); consider stopping or reducing the medication and switching to a fiber supplement like Psyllium Husk or methylcellulose to manage constipation
