I've been dealing with this annoying dry cough ever since I recovered from a fever and cold last week. It feels like it's coming from deep in the lungs and has a lot of force behind it. I've been taking chericof for three days now, but it hasn't helped at all. I visited a doctor, got an injection, and he prescribed some meds, saying I'd feel better by the next day, but there's been zero relief. It's just this relentless dry coughno fever, body pain, fatigue, appetite issues, or high blood pressure. Do you have any idea what's going on and what I should consider doing next?

View allI'm 35 and I've been having this weird pain between my lungs and rib cage on the right side. There's this indentation under my right rib where the bone kind of sticks out, and now the deepest part on the left is starting to hurt too. It gets really bad when I cough, sneeze, or jump on a trampoline. This all started after I had a really bad lung cold a while ago, and even though it's been almost 10 years, I still get mucus every day and the cold feels like it's never completely gone. What could be going on with these symptoms?

I'm really concerned about this persistent cough that's been going on for quite a while now. The cough medicine doesn't seem to be helping at all. There are no other signs of a cold or anything, but she keeps coughing, especially during meals, while cooking, and at night. It's a bit confusing, and her eyes get watery, and there's itchiness in her throat when she coughs. Why might this be happening?

I'm really concerned because I've been smoking cigarettes for over 5 years now, and I've started having problems with a persistent cough and phlegm. I'm wondering if there's anything I could do to help with these issues besides quitting smoking?
do chest xray and pulmonary function test
