I've been dealing with a cold for the past three days, but now it seems like I have chest congestion that's making it really hard to breathe, especially when I'm trying to sleep. Any idea what's going on or what I should do about it?

View allI'm really worried about my mom. She tested positive for Corona about 15 days ago and was just discharged from the hospital 2 days ago after receiving a Dexamethasone injection for 5 days. Her fever is gone, but she's still having some issues like occasional cough, weakness, and chest and back pain when she coughs. How long do you think these symptoms will stick around?
for almost 2 weeks

I'm experiencing a cough whenever I'm in air conditioning, whether it's day or night. Even when I'm on an AC bus, my throat gets itchy and the coughing starts. I don't have any nasal congestion or other symptoms, just this persistent cough that's been really bothering me. What could be causing this?
You can try taking a cough suppressant like Delsym (Dextromethorphan) 30mg every 6 hours as needed to help alleviate the cough. Additionally, you can use a humidifier in your room to add moisture to the air and soothe your throat. Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

I'm really worried because I've just started taking Forecox tablets to treat TB, and I also have diabetes. I began the medication on February 25, 2021. How long will it take to see improvement, and is there anything special I should be doing because of my diabetes? I'm trying to stay informed and get everything right.
A period of 6-12 months.
