I've been dealing with this dry cough and random discomfort all over, like in my chest, pelvis, and abdomen. These discomforts just appear and disappear, and they don't usually last long, except for my chest, which lingered on two occasions. Also, I've been feeling this slight ache in my shoulder and lower back for about a month now. Just wondering what's going on with my body? Should I be worried, or is there something I should do to make it stop?

I'm really concerned about my wife. About three weeks ago, she got an injection in her left hip at an authorized hospital because she was having stomach pain. Just yesterday, she noticed a lump at the injection site. There's not a lot of pain, but she does feel a little bit when it's pressed. I'm worried about what could be causing this lump and if it's something we should be concerned about. Is there anything I should do?

The lump at the injection site on your wife's left hip could be due to an inflammatory reaction, infection, abscess, or granuloma formation, and although it's likely a benign complication, it's essential to consult the doctor who administered the injection or visit the hospital's emergency department to rule out any serious infections or adverse reactions, and ensure proper evaluation and treatment.

I'm dealing with typhoid fever for the last four days and recently got a CRP test that came back showing 24 mgL, but I know the normal range should be lower. Is it possible for CRP levels to rise with typhoid? Can you suggest ways to manage typhoid and help lower CRP levels?

Yes, CRP (C-reactive protein) levels can rise during infections like typhoid fever as part of the body's inflammatory response. It's important to follow your doctor's treatment plan, which usually includes antibiotics, hydration, and rest. Additionally, a healthy diet with anti-inflammatory foods and proper hydration can help manage CRP levels. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
