I've been dealing with this dry cough for the past 10 days and I went to see a doctor. They gave me antibiotics and anti-allergy meds, but I'm not seeing any improvement. The doctor checked and said my chest and throat are clear. A few days ago, they suggested I use betadine solution for gargling, but my voice is still blocked and this dry cough just won't go away. Any idea what might be going on or what else I should try?

. Rest. Get plenty of sleep and rest your voice.
Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration.
Try comforting foods and beverage. Warm liquids broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey and cold treats such as ice pops can soothe a sore throat.
Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon. Gargle the solution and then spit it out.

View allI've been taking Ebast-M for about four years, and whenever I miss taking it for like three days, I start feeling this pain on one side of my throat and get random sneezing fits. Can you help me figure out what's going on and maybe suggest how I can manage or reduce these symptoms? It's been a bit of a hassle, so any advice would be appreciated.
It seems like you are experiencing symptoms of allergies due to missing your ebastine and montelukast tablets. To reduce your throat pain and sneezing, you can start by taking Ebast-M tablet again. The usual dosage is one tablet once daily. Additionally, you can take a pain reliever like Paracetamol for throat pain. It is important to continue taking your prescribed medication regularly to manage your allergy symptoms effectively.

I noticed that the skin on my epiglottis is white when I looked in the mirror. Is it normal for the epiglottis to have white skin, or should I be worried about a potential disease?
Absolutely normal.. No need to worry if it's not causing any trouble

I've been having a mildly sore throat pretty frequently these days, and I've found that gargling with betadine really helps. But I'm a bit concerned and curious - is it safe to use betadine for gargling every night, or could there be any long-term issues with using it often? Would love to get your thoughts on this.
Using Betadine for gargling every night can be safe for short periods of time. However, prolonged and frequent use may lead to irritation of the throat and oral mucosa. It is recommended to use it for a maximum of 7-14 days. If your symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult a doctor for further evaluation and management.
