I've been dealing with frequent sinusitis that worsens my asthma, and I'm wondering if surgery for a deviated septum could help. I'm tired of relying on meds like cetirizine and montelukast and have started jal neti and vaman for relief. Would surgery actually make a difference or are there other options I should consider?

Yes, surgery to correct a deviated septum (septoplasty) can potentially make a difference in managing your sinusitis and its impact on your asthma. It's a common procedure to improve airflow and reduce nasal congestion. However, it's crucial to consider other options and determine if surgery is the right fit for your individual situation.

There's a sharp pain whenever I swallow, which is pretty uncomfortable even though I can still do everything else fine. I'm just wondering what could be causing this and if there's anything I can do to make it go away. Any advice?

Additionally, you can try gargling with warm salt water and staying well-hydrated. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

I've been reading about PRP injections and their potential benefits for reducing tinnitus and improving sensorineural hearing loss. I'm curious if this is actually effective. Also, I'm wondering whether this treatment can be done as an inpatient procedure instead of a daycare one. I live in Hyderabad, so if you have any local recommendations or leads, that would be really helpful.
