I've been dealing with perioral hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and it turns out my sister has the same issue. My doctor suggested I use Kozilite H cream with hydroquinone 2%. Do you think it's safe for my face, and how long should I stick with this treatment? Also, I've had really dark circles since I was a kid, so it's kind of a heredity thing. I don't want to put any hydroquinone cream around my eyes. Could you recommend a good, non-irritating under-eye cream to help reduce them?

- Hydroquinone 2% is generally safe for short-term use (3-6 months) on the face, but prolonged use can lead to ochronosis, skin thinning, or rebound hyperpigmentation; use Kozilite-H cream as directed by your doctor, and monitor for any adverse effects. 2. For dark circles, consider a non-irritating, hydroquinone-free under-eye cream containing ingredients like caffeine, peptides, vitamin K, or niacinamide; some good options include Kama Ayurveda Under Eye Cream, La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Eye Cream, or Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel.

View allI've just had a pretty scary experience while riding my bike a kite thread cut my face and now I've got this burning sensation. I'm really worried and unsure what to do next. Do I need to see a dermatologist right away, or is there any cream or medicine I can apply at home to help with this? Would love some quick advice on this.
I recommend cleaning the affected area with a gentle cleanser and applying an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to prevent infection. You can also take an over-the-counter pain reliever like Tylenol to help with the burning sensation. If the pain or redness persists, it would be best to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.

I've been struggling with some hair issues after a bad case of chicken pox back in 2016. About five months post-recovery, my hairline started receding, and my hair seemed to get thinner. By the next year, the temple area receded by an inch and my hair lost strength. I started taking dietary supplements six months ago as per my doctor's advice, and I'm noticing a slight improvement in thickness, but my temple hairline hasn't shown any progress. Can you shed some light on whether my temple hair will eventually grow back, and how long it might take for my hair follicles to recover after chicken pox?

I've seen various doctors and tried all kinds of meds, but after a few days or weeks, it just comes back to the same situation. I'm dealing with these ring-like red formations on my skin that are super itchy, and they leave red patches. Any idea what might be causing this or how to actually get rid of it? It's really frustrating!
