I've been dealing with severe pain for the past 30 days and visited both a general physician and an orthopedic specialist. They prescribed antacids, painkillers, and suggested using a splint, but I haven't seen any improvement. Is surgery the best option to relieve this pain or should I wait longer?

If severe pain persists for 30 days despite seeing a general physician and orthopedic specialist, further evaluation and specialized care may be necessary. Consider consulting a pain management specialist or other relevant specialist for advanced diagnostics and treatment options.

View alli have mucoid degeneration and mild swelling with almost no pain but i've been playing football and basketball the last two weeks could continuing sports cause a complete acl tear and how long is recovery after surgery for this condition
I recommend starting with physiotherapy and painkillers to manage your condition. If there's no significant improvement after a reasonable period, we can then consider surgical options.

My ACL in my right knee has been torn for 10 years my first doctor told me to rest and exercise. Now after another fall, a new doc says only ACL reconstruction surgery will fix it permanently. Are there any other options besides surgery?
yes advised.

I've been diagnosed with a low-grade partial ACL tear and I'm wondering if physiotherapy alone can help it heal without affecting my daily routine or sports. Is it safe to skip surgery, or will I run into problems later? I really don't want any future issues that could disrupt my life can I manage this without surgery and still live normally? What's the best option for me?
Partial tears do not require any symptoms of pain, swelling needs surgery. Also ortho opinion is advised to the patient.
