I've been dealing with severe pain for the past 30 days and visited both a general physician and an orthopedic specialist. They prescribed antacids, painkillers, and suggested using a splint, but I haven't seen any improvement. Is surgery the best option to relieve this pain or should I wait longer?

If severe pain persists for 30 days despite seeing a general physician and orthopedic specialist, further evaluation and specialized care may be necessary. Consider consulting a pain management specialist or other relevant specialist for advanced diagnostics and treatment options.

View allI'm getting a clicking sound in both knees with pain and discomfort, plus slightly bow legs. One doctor diagnosed a discoid meniscus and recommended surgery to trim it, but another doctor said my MRI looks normal and suggested strengthening exercises. My legs still feel really uncomfortable what should I do since the opinions are conflicting?
Discoid meniscus can cause knee pain and clicking; if MRI shows no tear, try 6 weeks of physio first—if pain persists or worsens, surgical trimming may be needed.

I'm 25 and I've noticed that my chest has some kind of deformation. After looking it up online, I figured out that it might be pigeon chest. I'm really keen on getting it treated but I'd prefer to avoid surgery if possible. Is there any other way to deal with this?

My 17-year-old daughter had brain tumor surgery at age 4 and now has issues with her breast and neck shifting out of place. An ortho doctor recommended seeing a surgeon for reverse cervical lordosis, but we're worried about another operation. Are there non-surgical options to help correct this or relieve her symptoms?
