I've been dealing with skin acne all over my back and hands, and it's been really frustrating. I went for a checkup and was given Kevon stay-on lotion to try, but I haven't seen any improvement. Any idea why it's not working, or is there something else I should do?

You are suffering from what Dermatologist call tropical acne. In this condition, pimples erupt on the back and shoulder area which then subside after few days with pigmentation. The treatment is not very complicated. It can be treated with tablets, creams, and soap. Maintenance treatment may be required to cover for recurrence. Please don't apply oil on your head.

I'm really puzzled and a bit worried about a bruise-like mark that showed up on my upper eyelid. I haven't injured or bumped it at all, and there's no pain or itching. It's been almost two weeks now, and it's not going away. Could you help me figure out what's going on?

I'm 24 and pretty lean at just 46 kg, but I've got multiple lipomas. I'm thinking about taking a protein supplement to help gain some weight, but I'm worried about how it might affect the lipomas. Could it cause more of them to develop or make the existing ones worse? Anything I should be aware of before starting on a protein supplement?

Hey, I've noticed my mom has these greenish patches on the upper parts of her thighs, and I'm really worried about what they might be. Can you tell me what could be causing this and how we might be able to treat it?

Greenish patches on the skin could be a sign of a fungal infection such as tinea versicolor. I recommend using an antifungal medication like Clotrimazole cream twice a day on the affected area for 2-4 weeks. Additionally, she can take oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole 150mg once a week for 2-4 weeks to help clear up the infection. It's also important to keep the affected area clean and dry to prevent further spread of the infection.
