I've been dealing with thick, sticky mucus in my nose and throat constantly, and now there's this weird cracking sound between my ear and nose. I've attached my CT scan do you think I should consider surgery right away or wait a few more months until the pandemic settles down? I'm not sure how urgent this is.

I've been feeling like there's always mucus in my throat for the past few months, and I usually end up spitting it out. Lately, I've noticed that it feels like I might throw up in the mornings because of it. I'm also wondering if it might be getting stuck somewhere in my chest. Can you help me understand what's going on?

My son's recent x-ray report shows he has severe adenoid hypertrophy, and the doctor suggested surgery. I'm really worried and wondering if there's any treatment option other than surgery. Also, if we do go the surgery route, is it a permanent solution, or is there a possibility that the problem might come back later?
