I've been experiencing this sharp pain in my chest when I take a really deep breath, and it's kind of worrying me. What's weird is that sometimes at night, the pain shows up even when I'm not breathing deeply. It's pretty painful, and I'm just wondering what might be causing this. Could it be something serious, or is it just some kind of normal thing that happens?

View allI'm really worried about my son. He caught a cold back in January 2014 and then started coughing a lot, having trouble breathing too. A doctor prescribed budate 200 rotacap, which he used for two years. After that, everything seemed fine for about eight months, but then the symptoms returned in December. So we saw another doctor who gave him a Levolin inhaler. We've now consulted a pulmonologist who has prescribed formonide 100, deriphyllin od 300, and montair lc kid. How long do you think he should keep taking these medicines?

I'm a bit concerned because I had a cough and cold for a few days, and then I got a fever, which hit a really high of around 103.5. I took Azithromycin 500 for five days, and thankfully, the fever is gone now. But on the last day of taking the antibiotics, I ended up coughing up blood twice, though it was just a couple of spots and it stopped the next day. Its been two days now, and I havent had any more bleeding. Ive attached some pictures that show the bloody phlegm, but now I'm not coughing any blood. The blood I saw was mixed with mucus. I also had a chest X-ray, and it showed mildly prominent bronchovascular markings and a horizontal fissure. Do you think I need a CT scan, or is this something normal that happens? I'm really worried about this.

I've been dealing with a cough for over two weeks now. I had a similar issue with a chronic cough that lasted about two months before but improved until almost two years went by. This time, I don't have any other problems like headaches, body aches, or weaknessjust the coughing. I just got my sputum test results and they show gram-positive bacilli and gram-positive cocci in pairs and chains, with occasional pus cells. What's the best way to handle this? How worried should I be?
you need to take antibiotic course for the above sputum report
