I've been feeling a bit of breath shortness after breakfast and while climbing stairs, and my breathing isn't as smooth as it used to be. I had a history of smoking for 9 years, then switched to vaping e-cigarettes for 2 years. I've quit all nicotine and smoking products for the past two weeks. Could you tell me what tests I should consider to understand the impact of my past smoking and vaping on my health?

View allMy mom's 53 and she's got diabetes and this dust allergy thing going on. She randomly got short of breath today and couldn't talk, which panicked us a bit. She usually gets mild asthma when she's near dust, but today it hit out of nowhere with no dust around. After taking Asthalin, she felt better. I'm curious about what could've triggered this sudden asthma attack without being around dust, and is it okay for her to use Asthalin every day?

I'm noticing a slight whistling sound when I breathe through my mouth, and it feels like something's clogged. It's been lingering for a while now. I used to be a smoker but quit quite some time ago. I'm also pretty active when it comes to fitness, but this breathing issue is bothering me. Who should I reach out to for help with this? Any suggestions?

So, I've been to see a chest specialist, and he thinks I have TB because I'm dealing with pleurisy. He hasn't done any reports but is giving me medicine for it. Is this normal? I also did a TB Gold test, and it came back positive with a gamma radiation level of 0.45. Does this mean I definitely have TB? I'm a bit worried and would love your input.
