I've been feeling this cramping-like pain on the right side of my abdomen, and my doctor advised I get an ultrasound and some blood work done, including an LFT. The results came back, and everything looks normal, even my liver size. But then it says I've got a Grade 3 fatty liver. Is it normal to have such a thing when the other tests are fine? How common is this, and what should I be doing about it? Could there be some underlying serious issue I should be worried about?

View allI'm really worried about my 80-year-old dad. He got diagnosed with a throat infection recently and he was already feeling weak, so they had to give him a blood transfusion. Now the doctor says he's got jaundice and might only have two to three months left. Can you help me understand what's going on and if there's anything we can do?
It is important to follow the doctor's advice closely and ensure he is comfortable and well taken care of during this time.

I've been drinking whisky regularly, usually two pegs a day. Recently though, even when I have just one peg, my eyes turn red, and my head feels strained. It's gotten me a bit worried, so I've stopped drinking for now. Could you explain what's going on and if there's any medicine I could take for this?
That's Unusual, visit General physician for evaluation and appropriate management

I've been dealing with acid reflux for the past couple of years and recently got an endoscopy that showed I have an H. pylori infection. I've been on the Nexpro HP kit but still haven't found any relief. Could you suggest what I might try next or what else might be going on?
Since you have been diagnosed with H. pylori infection and have been taking Nexpro HP kit without relief, I would recommend a different treatment approach. You can try a combination therapy with antibiotics such as Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin along with a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole. This combination therapy is often effective in eradicating H. pylori infection and relieving symptoms of acid reflux.
