I've been feeling kind of weak lately and I'm wondering if it's because I'm vegetarian. Is it okay if I start taking vitamin B tablets? Do they actually help?

As a vegetarian, taking Vitamin B supplements can be beneficial, especially Vitamin B12, which is found primarily in animal products; Vitamin B complex tablets can help alleviate weakness, fatigue, and neurological symptoms

I've been feeling weak for about a month now. Even after something simple like climbing stairs or a bit of exercise, my heart rate goes up and I just feel exhausted. My appetite seems fine, so I'm wondering if it might be a vitamin or mineral deficiency or something. I also had a cough a while back that lasted over a month, and Ive been feeling this weakness ever since. What could be going on here?

take multivitamins and take ecg once

What are the 3 types of fatigue?

Transient fatigue is acute fatigue brought on by extreme sleep restriction or extended hours awake within 1 or 2 days. Cumulative fatigue is fatigue brought on by repeated mild sleep restriction or extended hours awake across a series of days. Circadian fatigue refers to the reduced performance during nighttime hours, particularly during an individual’s “window of circadian low” (WOCL) (typically between 2:00 a.m. and 05:59 a.m.).

My daughter is 22 and she's got a really high fever. It seems to go down a bit with Calpol 650, but her heart rate gets really fast. Her heartbeat is a lot quicker, and it's worrying me. What should I do?

It sounds like your daughter may be experiencing tachycardia (fast heart rate) as a result of the fever. In this case, you can give her Ibuprofen (Advil) 400mg to help reduce the fever and also help with any inflammation that may be causing the fast heart rate. Make sure to keep her well hydrated and monitor her temperature and heart rate closely. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention immediately.
