I've been having this dragging sensation and pain on the left side of my scrotum which my doctor says is varicocele and recommended surgery but I'm not sure if it's really necessary. Can varicocele heal on its own or are there other treatment options before considering surgery? The discomfort comes and goes but it's really bothering me during physical activity

While it's possible for a varicocele to improve or disappear on its own, particularly in adolescents, it's not a guarantee. In many cases, varicoceles persist and may even worsen over time. Your doctor's recommendation for surgery is likely based on your specific symptoms and how they're impacting your quality of life, especially during physical activity. There are other options to consider before surgery, but it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and guidance.

View allI've been wondering about the effects of masturbating three times a week. Is there any truth to the idea that it could lower memory or weaken the brain? I'm just kinda worried and want to know if that's possible.
No, masturbating three times a week does not lower memory or weaken the brain. Its a normal and healthy activity unless it interferes with your daily life. If youre feeling fatigued or stressed, it could be due to other factors like poor sleep, diet, or stress levels.

I'm dealing with an Escherichia coli UTI, and my weight is 58 kg. The lab report says Chloramphenicol could be effective. Could you guide me on the appropriate dosage for the 500mg capsules? I'm a bit concerned about getting it right.
Chloramphenicol is commonly used to treat Escherichia coli UTIs. The recommended dosage for adults is usually 500 mg every 6 hours. Since your weight is 58 kg, the appropriate dosage for you would be 500 mg every 6 hours. It is important to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your healthcare provider to ensure the infection is completely eradicated.
