I've been having a hard time sleeping for the last couple of months. Most nights, I'm struggling to fall asleep until after midnight or even later, but weirdly, I wake up at my usual time. For the past two years, I've been waking up with a sore nose, but now I'm also dealing with headaches when I wake up. I feel exhausted all the time, and it seems to be making me feel more and more down. I tried taking melatonin before, but even the tiniest amount makes me wake up feeling sick. I'm starting to get worried, could this be something serious?

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of insomnia and possibly sleep apnea, which could be contributing to your headaches, fatigue, and depression. I recommend trying over-the-counter sleep aids such as ZzzQuil (diphenhydramine) to help improve your sleep quality. Additionally, you may benefit from using a nasal spray like Flonase (fluticasone) for your nasal congestion. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and personalized treatment plan.

View allI've been having trouble with oversleeping and started taking modalert without talking to a doctor first. I'm wondering if there are any potential side effects I should be aware of. Should I keep using modalert since it's been working for me so far, or would it be better to stop?
