I've been having pain on the right side of my abdomen and the scan showed no appendicitis but mentioned tenderness in RIF. I'm almost done with my antibiotic course and the pain has reduced, but I still feel a slight ache when lying on my back or sideways. Do I need surgery or can this be treated with medication? Also, would unani medicine help in this case?

While your pain has improved with antibiotics, the persistent ache in the right iliac fossa (RIF) warrants further evaluation. It's possible the issue is not just an infection, but could be related to other conditions like Crohn's disease or diverticulitis, which can present with similar symptoms. Unani medicine may offer some complementary approaches, but it's important to discuss this with your doctor and integrate it with conventional treatment.

View allI'm really worried because I'm having diarrhea after eating papaya on an empty stomach, and my stomach cramps are really bad. I took ornof, but it only seems to provide temporary relief. As soon as it wears off, the cramping and diarrhea come back. I have a history of IBS, so I'm really concerned. Could this be a reaction to the papaya, or something related to my IBS? What should I do next?

I'm dealing with a lot of phlegm in my throat and lungs, which is making me cough a lot. I recently had laser fissurectomy and haemorrhoidopexy, and I'm already taking a lot of antibiotics. Every time I cough, it hurts, especially near the surgery area. I've been using Syp. Ascoril LS, 5ml three times a day for the past three days, and while it's helped a bit, I'm not completely better yet. Do you have any suggestions for a syrup that can help clear the phlegm and ease the cough without causing more pain?

I was wondering how we can really be sure that someone is free of abdominal tuberculosis after they've finished their ATT course. Is there a specific test that can accurately confirm it? I'm feeling a bit anxious about making sure the treatment has been successful.
Patient is advised x-ray chest and sputum for AFB and mmicroscopy.
