Xanthelasma can be removed by dermatologist using laser or cautery; ophthalmologist is needed only if it's near eyelid margin‚Äîrecurrence and mild scarring are possible.

I had eye herpes a while back in October 2016, and since then I've been left with these scars on my forehead. It's been about four months now. I've been using Demelan cream twice a day, and at night, I apply Aziderm cream for about 15 minutes. Is there anything else I should be doing, or do you think this routine will eventually help with the scars? I'm a bit worried and would love some advice.
