I've had an anal abscess for 5 days and my doctor put me on antibiotics. Now they're saying I might need surgery but I really don't want to go through that. Is there another way to treat this without surgery? The pain is unbearable - can't even sit or walk properly and I feel nauseous all the time. What else can I do?

Is it safe to schedule an umbilical hernia surgery on amavasya or do doctors avoid operating on that day? I've heard some people say it's not a good time for surgeries but I'm not sure if that's just a myth

Many people are able to delay surgery for months or even years. And some people may never need surgery for a small hernia. If the hernia is small and you don't have any symptoms, or if the symptoms don't bother you much, you and your doctor may simply continue to watch for symptoms to occur.

I've had a lump on my chest for a few months now, and it's pressing on my esophagus because sometimes I have trouble swallowing food. It feels like it's right under the skin, maybe on the middle chest bone at the bottom. It's about an inch in diameter, soft, moving, and not painful. Im wondering if it could be a Lipoma since I have other similar lumps on my arms and thighs that haven't caused problems. I haven't been able to see a doctor in person yet because of Covid. Do you think this is likely a benign, noncancerous tumor? Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful.
