I've had the ARMS procedure for GERD and acidity, but I still get constant burping. If I try to hold in a burp, I end up vomiting right away. Is there any permanent solution for this, maybe even surgery or another treatment? It's really affecting my daily life.

Persistent burping after ARMS may be due to altered gastric motility—further testing like manometry or fundoplication revision may help; consult a GI motility specialist.

View allI'm experiencing a burning sensation after I pass stools, and it's happened twice just last week. The stool seems normal, and it's usually after I've had some spicy food. Should I be worried about this, or is it just the spicy food causing it?
Chondromalacia patella, also known as runner's knee, is a condition where the cartilage on the underside of the kneecap deteriorates and becomes soft. Unfortunately, chondromalacia patella is not permanently curable . The good news is that symptoms can be managed with treatment, and in some cases, people can experience significant relief. However, the condition can be progressive, meaning it can worsen over time if not properly managed. Given that you've been under treatment for over a year and haven't experienced the desired relief, it may be worth exploring alternative treatment options or seeking a second opinion from a specialist. In terms of adjusting your lifestyle, it's great that you're thinking proactively. Considering your history with sports, you may need to modify your activities to reduce stress on your knee joint. Low-impact exercises like cycling or swimming might be more suitable options for you.

I'm hoping for some advice on a couple of habits I've had since I was a kid. I've been eating slate pencil since I was in 4th grade, and now that I'm 23, I'm wondering if that's harmful. Also, every now and then, I find myself eating raw rice. Are there any risks with that? On top of all this, I've been dealing with a pretty severe problem of piles. Could these habits be making my condition worse? Would love to get some insights on this.

I've been having loose motions since last night and I'm not sure what kind of medicine I should take. I've already been drinking lemon water regularly. Could you help me figure out what else might help?
You can take Redotil 100mg (rececadotril). Make sure to stay hydrated by continuing to drink plenty of fluids like lemon water.
