I've had a hoarse voice for the last 4 months and was diagnosed with vocal cord polyps. The allopathy doctor gave me meds for 10 days and said surgery might be needed if it doesn't improve. Are there any Ayurvedic treatments that could help avoid surgery? Can you suggest Ayurvedic medicines or kadhas that might work for this?

This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

View allI've been dealing with a stubborn sinus issue for a while now and really want to avoid surgery if possible. Are there any effective medicines or treatments that could help clear this up without going under the knife? I keep hearing mixed advice about whether meds actually work long-term for sinus problems
septoplasty for DNS is advised to the patient if conservative treatment is ineffective.

I was laughing at a joke and inhaled quickly, and the chewing gum I was eating accidentally went down my throat. I'm not entirely sure if it went through my food pipe, but now I have a cloggy sensation in my throat, maybe because I coughed a lot trying to clear it. Im worried it might be stuck in my windpipe or somewhere near my throat bone. I don't have any breathing issues, cough, or fever, but the feeling is unsettling. Is it possible the gum got stuck in my windpipe, or could there be another reason for this sensation?
Its unlikely that the chewing gum went into your lungs, especially since you're not experiencing breathing problems or a cough. The sensation in your throat is likely due to irritation from coughing or mucus, not the gum being stuck in your windpipe. If the discomfort persists, its always a good idea to check with a doctor for peace of mind.

My right nose is blocked due to nasal congestion and allergies, and the doctor recommended surgery using advanced ENT with a navigator based on my CT scan and endoscopic report. They said skipping surgery could lead to chronic sinus issues. Are there any alternative treatments that could avoid surgery?
Advanced ENT-guided FESS is effective, but if unaffordable, try nasal steroids, sprays, and steam inhalation for relief.
