I've had a hoarse voice for the last 4 months and was diagnosed with vocal cord polyps. The allopathy doctor gave me meds for 10 days and said surgery might be needed if it doesn't improve. Are there any Ayurvedic treatments that could help avoid surgery? Can you suggest Ayurvedic medicines or kadhas that might work for this?

This condition may require clinical evaluation to determine the exact cause and treatment. Some cases can be managed conservatively, while others may need surgical intervention depending on size, symptoms, and severity. Regular follow-up is important to monitor progress.

I've been told I need to get a tonsillectomy and I'm kind of anxious about it. Are there any risks or side effects I should be worried about? Is it really safe to go through with the tonsillectomy?
No need to worry there are no major complications with the surgery you can trust your doctor and get the procedure done.

I'm really concerned about a lump I've noticed slightly behind where my left tonsil was removed about 8 years ago. It doesn't hurt and seems to be the same color as the rest of my throat. I don't have any trouble eating, but when I dry swallow or just swallow saliva, it feels like there's phlegm stuck in my throat. It's been there for a couple of months now, and I'm just so aware of it all the time. Is it something I should be worried about, like throat cancer? I've attached a picture too.
No need to worry, that could be normal lymphnodes or mucus retention cyst, visit ENT doctor for evaluation and appropriate management
