I've had knee pain for 10 years and been doing physiotherapy for the past year. My hip joint snaps when climbing stairs with slight pain, but the main issue is IT band pain at the knee. I do stretching and strengthening exercises regularly but don't feel much improvement. Could this condition require surgery or are there other treatment options I should consider?

Is there any way to reduce my carrying angle from 20 to 15 degrees without surgery? I have it in both hands and was wondering if specific exercises could help or if surgery is the only option to fix it

While surgery may be an option in some cases, yoga and physical therapy exercises can be effective in strengthening the muscles and potentially reducing the angle.

I had scaphoid nonunion AVN surgery in 2018 with a bone graft from my iliac crest and K-wire fixation. It's been 4 years now, but I still get pain every 3-4 months when I lift weights or play cricket, though it goes away in 2-3 days. My surgeon checked my recent X-ray and said the bone looks fine and some pain is normal. Does this sound right? Should I be worried about the recurring pain even after all this time?

Intermittent pain after scaphoid AVN surgery may persist due to joint stress—occasional pain is acceptable if imaging is normal, but avoid weight strain to prevent re-injury.
