I've had nearsightedness for years and been wearing glasses for 13 years now, but lately my vision seems to be getting worse. My current power is -5 in both eyes - is LASIK surgery a good option for me? I'm worried about my eyesight deteriorating further

My mom is 47 and diabetic, she just had cataract surgery in one eye and can see far distances clearly now. The doctor wants to use a different focal lens in her other eye so one eye sees far and the other sees near. Is this approach safe and effective for someone with diabetes? Will she adjust okay to having each eye focused differently?

My vision is 69 with 0.75 power in both eyes and I'm considering LASIK or PRK surgery. I need to reach at least 66 vision without glasses is it safe to go for the procedure with my current prescription? Just worried if my power is too low for surgery to be effective.
Low myopia (0.75D) is suitable for LASIK/PRK;with proper screening,you can expect to achieve vision 6/6 safely.
