I've had this persistent cough for about two weeks now and I've been trying different cough syrups. I started with Benadryl, but it didn't really seem to help. Then, my doctor suggested I try BroZedex, which gave me some relief, but it wasn't perfect. I also used Gokof by Fizikem, which made it a bit better, but the cough is still hanging on. What else can I try to get rid of this cough?

I'm a regular weed smoker, and I've noticed lately that I'm coughing up bloody mucus. I'm pretty sure it's from my smoking habit. I think I might have bronchitis because the symptoms match up. Even before I started smoking, I used to cough every morning when I woke up. I've tried to cut back and even quit smoking. Can you tell me the best way to deal with this? Any remedies I should know about?

quitting smoking is the first and foremost thing you need to do. and then consult a pulmonologist for detailed evaluation. blood in sputum is not a small thing. don't ignore this further.

My husband has been experiencing episodes of sighing and breathing difficulty. A month ago, it seemed to come and go, but recently it's gotten worse. We finally saw a doctor who said he has bronchitis, even though his ECG, sugar, and most test results were normal, apart from a bit of chest congestion and a high TLC indicating some infection. He's on Augmentin, montair fx, and Pantop D now, plus an inhaler. Im concerned because hes still sighing and Im just wondering if this is normal as he starts treatment. His oxygen saturation is at 97-98. Should I be worried or is there anything else we should be doing to help him get better?

I've been having trouble with shortness of breath and a dry cough, especially when I'm talking or laughing. I saw a doctor and was given some meds for three days: Zifi LBX, Maxtra Cold, Nelson, and Corex cough syrup. But I'm still dealing with the same issues. What should I do now? Any advice would be appreciated.
