I'm really worried about the side effects of surgery for an anal fissure. Homeopathy says it can be cured with just medicines, but I still have this thick skin layer outside my anus from a chronic fissure that's causing trouble. They strongly advise against surgery, but I'm not sure what to do. Is surgery really risky? What are the possible side effects?
