My mom is 52 and both lobes of her thyroid are enlarged, extending into the supraclavicular space with possible retrosternal extension on the left side. The right lobe measures 4.6x1.8x1.5 cm and the left is 6.1x4.2x4.0 cm. The largest nodule is 1.7x1.5 cm in the right lobe and 3.0x2.5 cm in the left. Can this be treated with medicines or does she need surgery?

Can you recommend the best cooking oil for someone in my situation? Also, any advice on how to lose weight and reduce belly fat would be really helpful.
Limit usage of cooking oil and you can try olive oil and do physical excercises to reduce belly fat

I'm really worried about my friend who's dealing with a vitamin D deficiency. Can you explain what kind of problems they might face because of this? Also, what treatments are usually recommended for someone to overcome this deficiency?
Vitamin D deficiency can lead to issues like weakened bones (osteoporosis), increased risk of fractures, fatigue, muscle weakness, mood changes, and impaired immune function; treatment typically involves supplements (1,000-2,000 IUday) and increased exposure to sunlight, as well as dietary changes to include vitamin D-rich foods like fatty fish, fortified dairy products, and mushrooms.

I'm 24 years old and my height is 5.7. I'm really curious to know if it's still possible for me to grow taller at this age. If there's a way to increase my height, could you please explain how it might be possible?
At 24, your growth plates have likely closed, making natural height increase unlikely
